Week two, in the books! We were split down the middle with victories and losses in our area games. The noteworthy wins go to Gadsden City, Southside, Piedmont,  Anniston, Jacksonville, Donoho and Walter Wellborn who remain undefeated. Southside may have a shot at going three and naught for the first time since 1996 if they can beat Scottsboro in week 3. The Titans will have their work cut out for them going up against a tough Oxford Yellow Jacket team who received their first loss of the season by the hands of the ever so mad Clay Chalkville(Yet another undefeated team). Walter Wellborn was fired up to beat down Vincent 60-27 much to Robert’s delight! Fort Payne got their revenge on Etowah by handing the Blue Devils their first loss of the season but, Glencoe nabs their first win along with Sardis who gets a school record 68 points in the Lions big victory over Locust Fork! The hits just keep on coming and week three is looking to be a good one with special interest in our spotlight school of the week in Gadsden City who will host Oxford. Glencoe faces Piedmont and Jacksonville will look to go three and 0 and Sand Rock looks to go snag a victory at North Sand Mountain. Jason Bozeman also wanted to make mention of the fact that Boaz is looking very good so far as well. Can’t wait for more football!
