What is the FFE?

It's the Friday Football Extravaganza. Our mission statement is that we wanted a high school scoreboard show that was entertaining and informative. We believe in positive talk rather than negative and we try our best to keep the scores relevant to the area teams. Since the show is set for the fans, we like to go to different area games to hang out and watch the action from the sidelines and the stands. At halftime we go over the up to date scores from the area live and then it's back to the station to get ready for the nights big show. Regular callers are known as "The Legion Of Doom (L.O.D.)" and will announce their name, the school they went to and the year they graduated or will graduate. We try our best to have fun and of course theirs always the unscripted funny that allows us to cut up and at the same time not be too annoying or boring. Jason and I have been involved in radio for over a decade and both got our start at JSU. Z93.1 and WAAX gave us the green light to have our show on the air three years ago (with the Championship Belts to prove it) and we intend on staying around as long as they will let us. We hope you tune in and give us a shot. We'll have your scores, coaches interviews and of course, the fans calling in.
