Etowah's new coach, who is certainly not a "new" coach, comes in with a lot of knowledge of the region. He coached at Boaz for 16 years. Coach Drew Noles feels his team has a chance of winning every week. But with what he sees as a very balanced region, there is also a chance for him to lose every week. His quarterback is lacking in experience, but he has some needed experience at some other key spots, like running back and wide receiver on offense. And an even more experienced defensive unit. The team has good speed and a better than average depth chart. The region's most valuable player, senior running back Devin Horton, is back. He rushed, caught passes, punted and returned punts last year for the Devils. Several other play makers return to the lineup and the coach appears to have a pretty good chance to own the region.
