Swain Morris is back as head coach for Gaston High school after spending three years at Scottsboro. And he says he is happy to be back. He returned to find his coaching staff virtually in tact with only one exception. One challenge he will face is getting to know his players and selling them on his vision for the team. The coach did find a few familiar faces which he coached back when they were in middle school. They are now seniors and he is hoping to get leadership from several guys including Braxton Collins and Lee Corey that he singled out. The coach sounded optimistic when we talked with him recently.
