The focus will be on "ball control" this season for West End. Coach Hallmark says we can look for the "Old School" Wing-T Offense. With a limited number of players dressed out, many will be playing on both sides of the ball. The Patriots have experienced lines on offense and defense but the team is lean in the skill positions with mostly young, inexperienced players. One key will be how the team fares in the injury column. The Pats open at home against Susan Moore, a team that Coach Hallmark is happy to have back on the schedule. He tells us he is looking forward to renewing that rivalry. Susan Moore is a class 3A school. After week one, the Patriots will start a regional 2A run against Ider on the road.
